    My friend came to visit and wanted to check out the Saturday farmers' market at the Ferry Building. I haven't been here in a while and didn't realize how packed it was. I know it's popular but Wow!!! I wasn't prepared for all the people. Probably more food vendors here than Off the Grid but hey, what do I know, I haven't been to one of those in a while as well. This is a great place to go for all your fancy food cravings as the inside markets have everything from caviar to specialty chocolates. Outside on Tuesdays and Thursdays, they have a smaller version of the Saturdays farmers market but this place runs year round so it's pretty amazing. Lots of food vendors and produce vendors. I think the prices may be slightly higher than other farmers markets but that's to be expected. My friend and I had a great time walking around and checking out a bunch of vendors and their offerings. Overall, fun times.

    i am such a fan of the ferry building, especially their saturday farmers markets. regarding the farmers market: it can get crowded but there's something for everyone! from fresh produce, to a hog oyster stand, to homemade goods, there are so many different things to see and try. the food selection looks larger now than it did before, and there are picnic tables set up for more organized eating as well. definitely take a stop and browse around, you'll likely try something you haven't had before.
